Synthetic Shades of Blue.
As our society advances alongside technology, the virtual/synthetic world and the physical/organic world begin to meld.
Our virtual existence has become nearly as tangible as our physical.
Our virtual interaction has become nearly as essential as our face to face.
The art of conversation has faded; being replaced with instantaneous international messaging.
Our relationships aren’t dependant on physical experiences, with many relationships being held together over the virtual world.
Who is to say that our organic world won’t in such a way meld with the synthetic?

The modern age we live in features set examples of how we must be.
We are taught how to fit in.
We are taught how to obey the laws.
We are taught how to think.
We are taught how to act.
We are taught how to feel.
But most importantly, we are taught how to want.
Our capitalist age demands that we are creatures of want, not necessity. This is the fuel that keeps our society burning, keeps our buildings rising and keeps us within constraint.
Sometimes it just makes you want to escape.
This feeling can emerge through artistic expression, summarised as the Nomad. The one who leaves everything behind to build his own self established kingdom.
