Synthetic Shades of Blue.

As our society advances alongside technology, the virtual/synthetic world and the physical/organic world begin to meld.

Our virtual existence has become nearly as tangible as our physical.
Our virtual interaction has become nearly as essential as our face to face.
The art of conversation has faded; being replaced with instantaneous international messaging.
Our relationships aren’t dependant on physical experiences, with many relationships being held together over the virtual world.

Who is to say that our organic world won’t in such a way meld with the synthetic?

Dior Homme Autumn Winter 2013

Once again Dior have created new feelings for a collection through the use of modern synthetic materials. This collection creates a sterile aura, combining a traditional sense of dress with the Zeitgeist of a modern age.

As this planets resources begin to dwindle, other materials will in turn be utilised by the industry; promoting new benefits, features or availability.

We all have to travel sometimes. But when were actually on the journey where are we? In a state of neitherness, trapped between where we are going and where we are coming from.

In this way, the world between the train doors is a holding house; nothing but a half way destination between where you have come from to where you want to be.

Watching an individual travel is particularly fascinating as they loose just that. The individual.

The perfect circle where love is the law.

The perfect circle where love is the law.

The Nomad. The modern age we live in features set examples of how we must be.We are taught how to fit in.We are taught how to obey the laws.We are taught how to think. We are taught how to act. We are taught how to feel. But most importantly, we are taught how to want. Our capitalist age demands that we are creatures of want, not necessity. This is the fuel that keeps our society burning, keeps our buildings rising and keeps us within constraint.Sometimes it just makes you want to escape. This feeling can emerge through artistic expression, summarised as the Nomad. The one who leaves everything behind to build his own self established kingdom. Outfit by Boris Bidjan.
